Pu‘u Wa‘awa‘a Wildlife Sanctuary

 

This is another great opportunity to learn about Hawaii’s dry land forests.

Pu’u Wa’awa’a is at a higher elevation than Kaupulehu Dry Forest. Projects at Pu’u Wa’awa’a will be aimed at protecting and improving the habitat for the wildlife that inhabit this region.
