Learn about special ecological features of the two sites and how they became a part of the Natural Area Reserve System.
Projects: planting of native species, educational hikes, eradication of invasive species, and others aimed to protect these rare areas. Members contribute to protecting Manuka, the largest Natural Area Reserve in the State. Learn & work with species in subalpine shrublands, subalpine forests, mesic forests and wet montane forests. Projects: re-establishing native species and eradication of invasive species.
